UPUM Sdn Bhd has collaborated with OGPAC Worldwide Sdn Bhd to undertake Pier Assessment of part of MRT Kajang Line (Sg. Buloh station to Kota Damansara station) for Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd. The works involve assessment of the 319 nos. of pier structures and subsequently suggests necessary and appropriate conceptual remedial solutions to address any structural defects and associated problems identified at the piers during visual inspection. The defects identified on the piers are categorized into five (5) condition ratings, which has been adopted from REAM-GL5/2004.

SOUTHERN POWER GENERATION SDN BHD
UPUM Sdn Bhd has been appointed by Southern Power Generation Sdn Bhd (client) to carry out structural integrity assessment of HRSG steel structure, stack vertically and foundation and stairway structure after vibration incident at the Southern Power Generation Station. This structural integrity assessment involves visual inspection, geophysical surveys, terrestrial laser scanning, non-destructive testing, soil investigation, and finite element analysis.
In general, the current condition of the affected (HRSG steel structure, stack vertically and foundation, and stairways) after the vibration incident are identified and suitable remedial solutions are proposed
