Fundamentally, the inspection and physical assessment methods for the Old Hospital Buildings under the Ministry of Health Malaysia (KKM) follow the Garis Panduan Pemeriksaan dan Penilaian Keadaan Bangunan Sedia Ada (GPPPB) (JKR 21602-0004-13). Additionally, data collection takes into account the Garis Panduan Pengumpulan Data Aset Tak Alih (PeDATA), Sistem Kod Aset Tak Alih (SKATA), and Tatacara Pengurusan Aset Tak Alih (TPATA), as outlined in the Manual Pengurusan Aset Menyeluruh Kerajaan (MPAM).
The inspection and assessment methodology conducted by UPUM Sdn Bhd encompasses the follwing aspects:
- Building Condition Assessment (BCA)
- Re-measurement for the preparation of measured drawings and spatial analysis of the building and
- Comprehensive data analysis for the study to propose capital improvement recommendations and cost estimates to the Government, enabling a final decision on planning.
